- 1
Sign in on the studio machine
Open Studio Clock and sign in with the account you want this studio to use. Every other tool that talks to this studio must sign in with the same account.
- 2
Pick this machine's role
Open settings (⚙) and set the role. The studio machine should be Master — it broadcasts state to every other device. Other machines (newsroom, talkback) can be set to Follow-Master or Local.
- 3
Pick your audio inputs
Still in settings, choose the device input(s) you want monitored for DTMF tones. The VU meters appear once a device is selected.
- 4
Add your lamps
In the Lamps section add the lamps you need (ON AIR, MIC LIVE, NEWS, OPT OUT, etc.), give them colours, and pick whether they live in the Recording column or the On Air column.
- 5
Add DTMF triggers and jingles
Add your DTMF codes, attach a jingle to each, and (if you split the network) set per-location jingles. Optional: tick Subtone backup to add a redundant inaudible pilot tone for each trigger.
- 6
Add network feeds (optional)
If this studio carries a network, add the network base feed and any location splits. The master's triggers and jingles will sync to every signed-in machine.
